Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to reserve a spot ahead of time?
Yes. Our space is intentionally small and intimate to keep kids safe and allow caregivers a chance to relax. So the number of spots per play time are limited. Preregistration is required. If play time has already started, but you would like to join please call us and we’ll accommodate you if space allows.
You schedule, pay and sign a waiver ahead of time all via our website.
Can class packs be shared with siblings?
Yes. Our class packs are discounted to cover all members of your family including all caregivers and children.
Can I rent out the entire playroom?
Yes. Any play time can be reserved in advance for a private play session. The cost is $150 for a 2 hour block of time.
Is this a daycare?
No. Caregivers stay with their children for the duration of your session.
Is this a coworking space?
No. While we know there is also a need for time to get work done, Heart Space was created with the intention of creating community and connection. We ask that our playroom remains screen free, outside of the desire to snap a picture here or there while also being mindful that others may not want photos taken of their children.
Can we bring in outside food and drink?
Yes. Please limit eating and drinking to the tables to help keep our playroom clean. And to keep any vulnerable members safe, let’s keep things peanut free.
Can I reserve the entire playroom for private play?
Yes. You can reserve our entire playroom outside of regular play time for $150. If you don’t see a regularly schedule playtime that works with your schedule, contact us and we will accommodate you best we can.
Do you offer an unlimited monthly membership?
Not at this time. As a small business and a mom myself, I decided it was best to just do daily drop- ins and offer discounted class packs for those that hope to come more frequently. This way if we ever need to close here or there it doesn’t affect anyone’s membership. And for the same reason, you don’t have to worry about buying an unlimited month only to have you or your kiddo get sick for a week or two and not be able to use it like you had hoped you would. I’ve purposely tried to make the prices affordable as they are without offering the unlimited monthly option.
How do i register for open play time?

What is the age range?
Heart Space was designed to be a safe space for younger children 0-8ish. We welcome older siblings and feel that play is fun for all ages. However older children must be mindful of using the space in accordance with what is appropriate for keeping our younger children safe. Things like running, tag and roughhousing are not appropriate in our space. We also ask that our space remain screen free, to not take away from this time of play and connection.
Where should I park?
Can we wear shoes in the playroom?
No. Shoes must be removed to enter the playroom. Socks are required and grippy socks are highly recommended.
Why do you charge for adults and older children?
Our playroom is a very small and intimate space. In order to keep things from getting too chaotic we limit the number of people allowed for each play time. Therefore every person must be accounted for in our numbers. Also, Heart Space Playroom, while definitely created with the little ones in mind, is just as much here as a place to support caregivers. We’ve tried to provide extra activities for older siblings like art supplies, games and puzzles to try to support families with children of various ages.
A playroom for little ones and those who love them. Heart Space is a place to play, imagine, connect and create community.
